Inspections

Building Confidence from the Ground Up.

AOM’s Civil and Special Inspectors provide rigorous oversight of sitework, structural systems, welding, firestop, and other components essential to project integrity. Through detailed verification and close coordination with design and construction teams, we ensure every element meets code, specification, and performance expectations. Our approach improves quality, reduces risk, and supports a smoother path to final closeout

Strong projects begin with strong groundwork. Our Civil Inspectors verify grading, utilities, earthwork, and site infrastructure with the same rigor applied to vertical construction. By ensuring compliance with plans, specifications, and environmental requirements, we help prevent costly rework and keep site development aligned with schedule and safety expectations. The result is a stable, well‑coordinated foundation for everything that follows.

Integrity is built one connection at a time. Our Structural Inspections confirm that concrete, steel, masonry, and framing systems are installed to exact engineering standards. Through meticulous field verification and proactive communication with design teams, we identify issues early and maintain alignment between drawings and real‑world conditions. This oversight ensures a structure that’s safe, code‑compliant, and ready to support long‑term performance.

Every weld is a critical point of trust. Our Welding Inspections evaluate weld quality, procedures, and materials to ensure they meet stringent code and project requirements. By monitoring fabrication and field welding activities, we catch defects before they compromise structural integrity or delay progress. With our expertise, welded assemblies remain reliable, consistent, and built to withstand the demands of the project lifecycle.

Life safety depends on the details you can’t see. Our Firestop Inspections verify that penetrations, joints, and rated assemblies are sealed with approved systems installed exactly as tested. Through thorough documentation and coordination with trades, we prevent gaps that could undermine compartmentation or delay occupancy. The outcome is a building that maintains its fire‑resistance integrity and meets the highest standards of safety and compliance.
